Mechanical weld testing

Mechanical Weld Testing evaluates the strength, quality, and reliability of welded joints by applying controlled physical stresses to applicable standards & codes.

We provide methods such as:
Bend tests, Tensile tests, Hardness tests and Macro etching

These tests are also used to certify welders and support the qualification of PQRs that support WPS development.

WELDER CERTIFICATIONS
WQTR & WQT

We provide full welder certification services either onsite at your facility or at ours. Our testing center features 14 fully ventilated and fully equipped welding booths designed for efficient, code-compliant testing in all processes and positions.

Whether you need individual certifications, large-group testing, or employer-specific qualification programs, we can bring certified testing directly to your location or accommodate your team in our controlled, professional testing environment.

Available testing to:
AWS, API, ASME IX, MIL-STD-248, ABS,
WI State Weld Tests

WELDING PROCEDURE DEVELOPMENT
WPS & PQR

We provide complete development of Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
Procedure Qualification Records (PQR)
Welder Qualification Tests (WQT)

We ensure your welding programs meet applicable code requirements. Our services include drafting pre-qualified WPSs when permitted by the code, as well as performing full mechanical testing and documentation for procedures that cannot be prequalified.

From initial consultation to finalized, code-compliant documentation, we help companies establish reliable, tested welding procedures and properly qualified welders for any application.

Available Standards:
AWS, API, ASME, MIL-STD, ABS, & more

CORPORATE WELD TRAINING

We offer customized corporate weld training programs designed to improve skill levels, increase productivity, and ensure code-compliant workmanship across your workforce.

Training can be conducted at your facility or in our fully equipped welding center, and is tailored to your company’s materials, processes, and production needs.

Whether you need aluminum, stainless, or steel training, process-specific instruction, refresher courses, or full workforce development programs, we provide hands-on, practical training backed by real industry experience.

Our goal is to elevate your team’s capabilities, reduce rework, and support consistent, high-quality welding throughout your operation.

VISUAL WELD INSPECTIONS

We provide comprehensive visual weld inspections performed to AWS and ASNT standards and requirements by AWS QC1–certified Welding Inspectors (CWI’s) and ASNT ACCP VT Level II personnel.

Our inspections evaluate weld quality, fit-up, joint preparation, and overall compliance with project specifications and applicable welding codes.

With certified experience across multiple industries, we identify discontinuities, verify workmanship, and provide clear documentation to support code compliance, quality assurance programs, and customer audits.

Whether for new fabrication, in-process checks, or final inspections, our visual inspection services help ensure safe, reliable, and standards-compliant welds.

WELD AUDITING

We provide comprehensive audits of your welding programs, welder qualifications, procedure documentation, and testing records to ensure full compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.

Our review includes WPS/PQR/WQT documentation, continuity records, test procedures, and overall program structure to identify gaps, inaccuracies, or areas needing improvement.

Whether you need a pre-audit before a customer or certification review, or a full evaluation of your current welding program, we help streamline your documentation, strengthen compliance, and ensure your weld testing and paperwork meet the highest professional standards.

WELDING

We provide high-quality welding services on customer-supplied parts, ensuring all work meets the applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.

With extensive experience in aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steels across multiple industries, we deliver precise, reliable welds tailored to your requirements.

Whether you need prototype work, small-batch production, repairs, or code-compliant welds on critical components, we ensure each part is welded, inspected, and documented to the standards your project demands.

What we do

MECHANICAL
WELD TESTING

These tests are also used to certify welders and support the qualification of PQRs and WPSs.

WELD CERTIFICATIONS

Welder certifications confirm a welder’s ability to produce code-compliant welds through supervised testing. They document skill level, process proficiency, and qualification to specific welding standards (WPS's).

VISUAL WELD INSPECTIONS

Visual weld inspections assess surface quality, weld size, and workmanship before and after welding. This ensures defects are caught early and the weld meets code and customer requirements.

CORPORATE
WELD TRAINING

Weld and corporate training provides structured instruction on welding skills, safety, procedures, and code requirements. It improves workforce competency, consistency, and overall weld quality.

WELDING

We perform welding directly on customer-provided parts, following specified requirements to deliver accurate, reliable, and code-compliant results.

WELD AUDITING

Weld auditing reviews welding practices, documentation, and procedures to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and improve overall weld quality and efficiency.
